Abstract

Anne Rice was an American author. She delves into the genres of Gothic Fiction and Bible fiction. Gothic fiction is also known as Gothic Horror. Here, fear, supernatural entities and haunting permeate the fiction. Gothic Fiction gained enormous frame in the twentieth century. The name is derived from Gothic architecture from the Middle Ages. Anne Rice gained fame for her Gothic vampire novel series, titled The Vampire Chronicles. This paper studies some of the author’s critically acclaimed works.
